What you'll do

In this lab, you will configure an Azure infrastructure.

  1. Deploy highly available virtual machines that use availability sets
  2. Deploy a scalable virtual machine infrastructure with virtual machines that use scale sets
  3. Configure scale rules for scale sets
  4. Configure real-time metric alerts
  5. Configure virtual machines by using a custom script extension, a PowerShell Desired State Configuration (DSC) extension, and an Azure Resource Manager (ARM) template
  6. Use a managed disk to create a snapshot and a virtual machine
