What you'll do

In this lab, you will back up content in another region.

  1. Create Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) buckets in two different regions
  2. Configure automatic replication of the bucket contents
  3. Configure the backup bucket to use the S3 Standard-Infrequent Access (S3 Standard-IA) storage class to reduce storage costs
  4. Upload a file
  5. Verify that the replicated file uses Standard-IA storage

Note: Once you begin the lab, you will not be able to pause, save, or exit and then return to your lab. Please ensure you have set aside enough time to complete the lab before you start.
