What you'll do

In this lab, you will create an image of an Azure virtual machine that hosts Microsoft Visual Studio.

  1. Create a virtual machine
  2. Add a data disk to the virtual machine
  3. Capture an image of a generalized version of the virtual machine in Azure
  4. Create a virtual machine from the image
  5. Create a snapshot of a data disk

Note: Once you begin the lab, you will not be able to pause, save, or return to your lab. Please ensure that you have set aside enough time to complete the lab before you start.
