What you'll do

In this lab, you will manage storage capacity by using Storage Spaces and configure basic and dynamic disks.

  1. Create storage pools
  2. Create virtual disks from the storage pool capacity
  3. Configure new volumes
  4. Assign drive letters and mount points to the volumes
  5. Create two simple volumes
  6. Extend an existing volume
  7. Display disk information by using Windows PowerShell
  8. Create a RAID-5 volume
  9. Create a spanned volume
  10. Create a mirrored volume
