What you'll do

In this lab, you will configure network load balancing (NLB) in a network that contains two web servers.

  1. Install Internet Information Services (IIS) on the web servers
  2. Install NLB by using Windows® PowerShell®
  3. Configure NLB to load balance network traffic to the web servers in the web farm
  4. Create custom load balancing rules
  5. Verify that traffic is being balanced according to your load balancing rules

Note: Once you begin the lab, you will not be able to pause, save, or return to your lab. Please ensure that you have set aside enough time to complete the lab before you start.
