What you'll do

In this lab, you will configure a cluster by using the Scale-Out File Server feature and Storage Spaces Direct.

  1. Install the Remote Server Administrations Tools (RSAT) feature on three servers
  2. Install the File Services and Failover Clustering features on three servers
  3. Enable Storage Spaces Direct on the three members of the cluster node
  4. Verify that the storage is still available after a node failure

Note: Once you begin the lab, you will not be able to pause, save, or return to your lab. Please ensure that you have set aside enough time to complete the lab before you start.
