What you'll do

In this lab, you will deploy and manage Dataproc and Bigtable resources.

  1. Create a Dataproc cluster with the required configuration
  2. Submit a PySpark job to the cluster for processing
  3. Create a Bigtable instance with a single-node cluster
  4. Create a table and column family within Bigtable
  5. Load data into the table from a CSV file stored in Cloud Storage
  6. Verify the data was written correctly by querying the table with the cbt tool

Note: Once you begin the lab, you will not be able to pause, save, or return to your lab. Please ensure that you have set aside enough time to complete the lab before you start.
