What you'll do

In this lab, you will create and manage a BigQuery dataset and perform data analysis tasks.

  1. Create a new BigQuery dataset with specific location and naming conventions
  2. Create a table in the dataset by importing data from a CSV file stored in Cloud Storage
  3. Define and apply a schema to the table, followed by running a SQL query to retrieve filtered data
  4. Update the table with additional records by using a batch insert
  5. Export the query results to a new table and share the dataset with a specific IAM role

Note: Once you begin the lab, you will not be able to pause, save, or return to your lab. Please ensure that you have set aside enough time to complete the lab before you start.
