What you'll do

In this lab, you will build and manage a relational database in Google Cloud.

  1. Create a new Cloud SQL instance that meets specified configuration requirements
  2. Set up user accounts and assign appropriate access permissions
  3. Create a new database within the instance, followed by importing a predefined SQL script to generate tables and insert sample data
  4. Run queries to validate the data structure and content
  5. Enable automated backups and configure maintenance settings for the instance

Note: Once you begin the lab, you will not be able to pause, save, or return to your lab. Please ensure that you have set aside enough time to complete the lab before you start.
