What you'll do

In this lab, you will deploy Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) in Windows Server Core.

  1. Install the Active Directory Domain Services role in a Server Core server
  2. Use the Active Directory Domain Services Configuration Wizard to create a Windows PowerShell script for AD DS deployment
  3. Promote a Server Core server to an Active Directory domain controller by using the PowerShell script

Note: Once you begin the lab, you will not be able to pause, save, or return to your lab. Please ensure that you have set aside enough time to complete the lab before you start.
