What you'll do

In this lab, you will manage Google Cloud storage buckets.

  1. List the buckets in a project
  2. Configure bucket-level permissions using IAM roles to control access
  3. Change the storage class of a bucket
  4. Enable object versioning to track and preserve object changes
  5. Rename a bucket and simulate moving it by copying its contents to a new bucket and deleting the original
  6. Set up lifecycle management rules to automate object transitions or deletions based on predefined conditions
  7. Set and retrieve custom metadata for a bucket to support tagging, tracking, or automation workflows

Note: Once you begin the lab, you will not be able to pause, save, or return to your lab. Please ensure that you have set aside enough time to complete the lab before you start.
