What you'll do
In this lab, you will implement Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
- Deploy and configure a Microsoft Azure virtual machine (VM)
- Enable automatic enrollment in Microsoft Intune
- Connect to the VM via RDP and join it to the Entra ID tenant
- Confirm that Microsoft Defender for Endpoint is enabled and onboard the VM
- Configure advanced features and policies to enhance security monitoring and response
Note: Once you begin the lab, you will not be able to pause, save, or return to your lab. Please ensure that you have set aside enough time to complete the lab before you start.
