What you'll do

In this lab, you will digitally sign PowerShell code, verifying its authenticity as part of a larger Infrastructure as Code (IaC) management system.

  1. Check the system's Windows PowerShell execution policy before writing and testing a Windows PowerShell script
  2. Create a self-signed code signing certificate
  3. Digitally sign the script
  4. Confirm the script runs

Note: Once you begin the lab, you will not be able to pause, save, or exit and then return to your lab. Please ensure that you have set aside enough time to complete the lab before you start.
