What you'll do

In this lab, you will apply encryption and oversee the lifecycle of data at rest.

  1. Create a new S3 bucket
  2. Create a custom KMS encryption key
  3. Upload documents to the S3 bucket, triggering encryption using the new KMS key
  4. Configure an S3 Lifecycle Policy for the S3 bucket, to minimize costs

Note: Once you begin the lab, you will not be able to pause, save, or return to your lab. Please ensure that you have set aside enough time to complete the lab before you start.
