What you'll do
In this lab, you will ensure that the disks used by the virtual machines are encrypted using BitLocker and Azure Key Vault.
- Create and configure a cryptographic key in an Azure Key Vault
- Configure Azure Cloud Shell, and create a Microsoft Entra application and service principal
- Add an Azure key vault key, and configure the key vault access policy
- Since you plan on automating this process in the future, you will use Azure Cloud Shell to enable disk encryption on the virtual machine
Note: Once you begin the lab, you will not be able to pause, save, or return to your lab. Please ensure that you have set aside enough time to complete the lab before you start.
- ⏱ About 45 minutes
