What you'll do

In this lab, you will configure restricted permissions that allow users to perform specific management tasks.

  1. Add an Active Directory domain as an identity source
  2. Add Active Directory user accounts to the VMware vCenter Server Administrators group
  3. Create a custom role
  4. Assign permissions to the custom role
  5. Assign permissions to an Active Directory user
  6. Verify access for the user
