What you'll do

In this lab, you will configure static routes between a main office and two branch offices.

  1. Configure the IP addresses and interfaces for three routers
  2. Configure static routes between the routers in your network
  3. Configure the Routing Information Protocol (RIP) on the routers in your network
  4. Configure a floating static route to use as a backup
  5. Break the connection between your main router and a router in a backup location in a branch office
  6. Verify that you are able to connect from your main router to the backup location by using the floating static route

Note: Once you begin the lab, you will not be able to pause, save, or exit and then return to your lab. Please ensure that you have set aside enough time to complete the lab before you start.
