What you'll do
In this lab, you will configure and analyze Event Logs, view performance data on your computer, prepare management tools, configure the local registry, and schedule tasks.
- Configure management of remote event logs by customizing the Windows Firewall
- Connect to a remote event log by using Event Viewer
- Attach a task to a System event
- Enable the default System Performance Data Collector Set by using Performance Monitor and display the resulting report
- Create and configure a custom Microsoft Management Console (MMC) with local and remote focused snap-ins
- Configure the registry to block applications from running on the virtual machine
- Create and trigger a task
Note: Once you begin a challenge you will not be able to pause, save, or return to your progress. Please ensure you have set aside enough time to complete the challenge before you start.
