What you'll do

In this lab, you will create and retrieve data from views by using Transact-SQL (T-SQL).

  1. Create a view by using Data Definition Language (DDL)
  2. Grant permission for a test user to access the view
  3. Impersonate the test user to verify security
  4. Create a view by using a complex schema
  5. Create a simplified query by using the view

Note: Once you begin the lab, you will not be able to pause, save, or exit and then return to your lab. Please ensure that you have set aside enough time to complete the lab before you start.
