What you'll do
In this lab, you will troubleshoot the startup and boot process.
- Corrupt the Windows boot manager (bootmgr)
- Repair bootmgr
- Access advanced startup to start the virtual machine in safe mode
- Run the SFC utility to check/repair problems
- Reset the virtual machine back to defaults by using the Reset this PC option
Note: Once you begin the lab, you will not be able to pause, save, or return to your lab. Please ensure that you have set aside enough time to complete the lab before you start.
