What you'll do

In this lab, you will configure management of remote event logs by customizing the Windows Firewall, and then you will connect to a remote event log by using Event Viewer.

  1. Attach a task to a System event
  2. Modify local Group Policy to add a user to the list of users that have permission to manage security auditing on folders, force a Group Policy update, and then verify that the user can enable auditing on a folder

Note: Once you begin the lab, you will not be able to pause, save, or return to your lab. Please ensure that you have set aside enough time to complete the lab before you start.
